Liquid’s leadership team is made up of individuals with years of experience, working for leading organizations with unique requirements such as: 3dfx, AFC, AT&T, Best Buy, Cisco, Compaq, Frost National Bank, IBM, Live Person, MCI, Sequa, Sprint, US Army, US Air Force, Qwest, USAA and Verizon.  Our staff is heavily certified on solutions from leaders such as Adtran, Cisco, CheckPoint, Extreme, Microsoft, RedHat and VMware.  Our vendor certifications are complimented with a number of key industry-recognized practices and certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CHFI (Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator), PMP, ITIIL and Sixth Sigma.

Don Douglas, President and CEO

Don Douglas has used an extensive knowledge of Information Technology and Communications to assist companies in various industries around the world such as: IBM, AFCE (Popeyes, Church’s, Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best), Sequa (diversified manufacturing, aerospace, chemical), Weil Gotshal & Manges (legal) and Boeing in a variety of capacities such as Programmer, Project Leader, Network Manager, Manager Enterprise Systems, and Director of IT. In seven years at the helm of Liquid Networx, Don’s technical background has helped to craft the company into a telecommunications life cycle management organization with a vertical focus on IT compliance consulting and solutions. Liquid has helped more than 550 companies in the U.S. and abroad to simplify communications, reduce costs, increase productivity and raise security awareness.

Donald Anthony Douglas, CFO

Donald Douglas Sr. enjoys a rich and varied career which began in IT with USAA’s first computer, followed five years later by Frost National Bank’s first computer. Over the next 18 years, he oversaw Ops, Apps, Technical R&D, Tech Writing, Change Control, IT Contracts & Vendor Relations, Affiliate Eq. Leasing and Fed., St., External and Internal IT Audits while becoming knowledgeable in economics, insurance, and financial investigation. Don Sr. was licensed by the TB of Insurance and TEA and developed and taught college technology courses. He provided research and analysis consulting services to law firms on nearly 200 lawsuits while assisting partners and associates (including a former Justice of the Texas Supreme Court and present U.S. Senator John Cornyn) to effectively examine plaintiffs’ expert witnesses which led him to become licensed as a Texas investigations company manager. He served on the board of directors of a medical technology company that included Astronauts Deke Slayton, Rear Admiral Alan Shepard Jr. and Dr. George Kozmetsky, Dean of U.T. College of Business. Today, Don Sr. also works on a variety of special projects and assists with acquisitions at Liquid Networx in addition to his financial responsibilities as CFO.

Travis Wood, VP Consulting

Travis Wood brings a unique perspective having worked in multiple roles for AT&T, Qwest and now Liquid Networx. Travis has an intimate knowledge of network performance, carrier pricing, SLAs, terms and conditions, contracting, technical requirements, managed services and RFP processes. He brings more than 10 years of telecom experience and the benefit of having analyzed and provided services to hundreds of satisfied customers.

Michael Johnson, VP Security Services

A 25-year technology veteran, Michael Johnson’s specialty is in helping technology companies bring their products and services to market. He is participant in several patents for network security, digital rights management, and memory devices. A graduate of St. John’s University in New York, he has served in senior executive positions for U.S. public and privately-held companies. Currently, Michael is an active voice in network and internet security focusing on banking, education, healthcare, insurance and retail. His special interests are in emerging cloud and virtualized computing security issues. His brainchild, ComplyGuard Networks (part of the Liquid Networx family), became the 5th company approved by MasterCard Worldwide to conduct compliance testing and deliver consulting services relating to credit card data. Today, ComplyGuard Networks is an approved vendor for PCI Data Security Standard services.

Devi Jaspal, VP Operations

Devi joins Liquid Networx with more than 12 years experience in operations and customer care management, supporting the telecommunications and managed services industries. She has held leading roles in business transformation initiatives focusing on revenue enhancement and cost reduction. Prior to Liquid Networx, Devi managed the business solutions program for a respected communications firm, and also worked for a global leader in customer management, billing and HR services, outsourcing, managed services, consulting and software solutions. She managed the development, delivery, and ongoing support of one of three strategic offerings for the organization, and provided business strategy recommendations and consulting services to companies within the telecommunications, retail, consumer goods, and postal services industries.
